project apis cic
Nature. Connection. Community.
Project Apis CIC is a Norfolk-based social enterprise using beekeeping to bring people together, support mental wellbeing, and create inclusive spaces for learning, healing, and growth.
Through our community apiaries, we provide volunteering opportunities, skill-building workshops, and gentle, nature-based activities for people facing challenges such as mental health issues, recovery from addiction, and social isolation. Whether it's tending to hives, making beeswax candles, or planting for pollinators — our work is rooted in care, connection, and purpose.
We believe that everyone should have access to the simple joys of nature and the healing rhythm of the hive.

EstimatedThese figures give a simple snapshot of Project Apis CIC’s work this year. The free beekeeping figure and hive number are confirmed totals. Other figures are estimated rolling statistics based on our regular weekly community apiary programme.
Bee numbers are seasonal estimates, as colony sizes naturally rise and fall through the year. Honey bees are only one part of the pollinator picture. Our wider work also supports awareness of bumblebees, solitary bees, habitat, planting, and responsible environmental action.
