Our paid talks, workshops and private experiences are practical, welcoming and hands-on.
We work with schools, charities, churches, community organisations, care settings, businesses, families and individuals, adapting activities to suit the people taking part.
These paid activities are separate from our Community Apiary sessions. Income from our services helps Project Apis CIC continue making community beekeeping accessible through Beekeeping Without Barriers.
Bee talks that bring the hive to you
Friendly, accessible bee and pollinator education for groups, organisations, clubs, schools and community settings.
Bee Talk
£80 · 1 hour
An engaging introduction to honeybees, beekeeping and pollinators, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and explore the fascinating world inside a hive.

- Bees may be brought along when the time of year and conditions allow them to be safely transported and displayed
Junior Beekeeper Experience
£160 per session · Up to 90 minutes
An immersive school bee workshop where children do much more than simply listen to a talk.
Pupils can dress as beekeepers, explore real beekeeping equipment and take part in a simulated hive inspection using our specially built demonstration hive.

Private Beekeeping Experience
£50 per person · Up to 2 hours
A private hands-on beekeeping experience at the Project Apis CIC private apiary in Bradwell.
This option is for individuals, couples, families or private groups who would prefer dedicated time, greater privacy or a quieter setting away from our regular free community sessions.

Introduction to Beekeeping
An outdoor introduction to beekeeping for groups that would like to experience the practical side of working with honeybees.

The Pollinator Project provides a live bumblebee colony housed inside a custom box alongside education about bumblebees, pollination and the importance of supporting native pollinators.
