Bee Talk – Discover the World of Bees

£80.00

Project Apis CIC's Bee Talks are designed to make bees, beekeeping and pollinators interesting and accessible to everyone.

During the session we'll explore how a honeybee colony works, what beekeepers actually do, the important role of bees and other pollinators, and some of the simple things we can all do to support them.

Our talks can include educational beekeeping equipment, comb, wax and other visual resources to give people a closer look at the world inside a hive.

Where the season and conditions allow, we may also bring bees along in our secure observation hive, giving participants the chance to see live honeybees safely without opening a working hive.

The talk is informal and interactive, with plenty of opportunity for questions.

Suitable for:
Schools • Community groups • Churches • Clubs and societies • Care settings • Charities • Businesses and staff groups

What’s included:
One-hour talk from Project Apis CIC
Bee and beekeeping education
Pollinator and biodiversity learning
Visual and hands-on educational resources
Question-and-answer time
Live observation bees where seasonally and practically appropriate

Price: £80 per one-hour talk

Income from our paid talks helps support Project Apis CIC's wider community work and our aim of making beekeeping more accessible through Beekeeping Without Barriers.
