Our Private Beekeeping Experience is for individuals, couples, families and private groups who would prefer dedicated time away from our regular free community sessions.
Your booking gives you a private session at the Project Apis CIC private apiary in Bradwell, with more time to ask questions, learn at your own pace and get hands-on with beekeeping in a quieter setting.
It can be particularly suitable for people who would prefer one-to-one attention, greater privacy, a smaller group environment, or simply want to enjoy the experience with friends, family or their own group.
During the session you'll learn more about honeybees, how a colony works and what beekeepers look for when working with their hives.
Protective beekeeping equipment is provided where required.

Our beekeeping experiences are weather dependent and colonies will only be opened when conditions are suitable for both the bees and participants.
Our community sessions remain free
Our Private Beekeeping Experiences are completely separate from our free community apiary sessions.
If you're happy learning alongside others in a shared community environment, you're still very welcome to attend our community apiaries for free.
The private experience is simply an additional option for people who would prefer dedicated time, greater privacy or a session exclusively for themselves or their own group.
